{"id":1030,"date":"2015-04-20T22:15:16","date_gmt":"2015-04-20T22:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\/blog\/?p=1030"},"modified":"2015-04-20T22:20:33","modified_gmt":"2015-04-20T22:20:33","slug":"announcing-our-new-custoemr-service-live-chat-feature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\/blog\/announcing-our-new-custoemr-service-live-chat-feature\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing our new Customer Service Live Chat feature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings everyone,<\/p>\n<p>I hope spring has officially sprung for all of you, especially our friends up in the Northeast who had such a brutal winter.\u00a0 Down here in sunny Arizona things are starting to officially warm up and next thing I know we will be melting in 110 plus degree days.<\/p>\n<p>For a long time I have wanted to install a Customer Service Chat feature on our web site.\u00a0 And I am proud to say the day has finally come.\u00a0 From the home page of our web site you can now launch a Live Chat Session with our Customer Service department any time during our normal customer service hours of 9:00am through 8:00pm Eastern time\u00a0 (11 hours a day M-F.)\u00a0 Outside of those hours you can \u201cleave a message\u201d on this system.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All you need to do to launch a CHAT SESSION\u00a0\u00a0is look to the lower right corner of our home page ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\">www.qdigitizing.com<\/a>\u00a0) for one of these two symbols and click on it.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/small-chat1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1033\" title=\"small chat\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/small-chat1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"184\" height=\"33\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>OR<!--more--><\/strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1034\" title=\"large chat\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qdigitizing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/large-chat1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"171\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once you click on either of these links a chat window will open and you are chatting live.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I might be biased but I LOVE these chat systems and I use them on other web sites all of the time.\u00a0\u00a0CHAT\u00a0is great if you want to check on something like \u00a0status because you can send us a message like, \u201cI need a status on order 123456.\u201d\u00a0 And then move on to multi-task.\u00a0 Once we see your request we will send you a reply letting you know we chatting and then you can go get a drink of water (or whatever) while we get your status.\u00a0 Once we have your information we will send you a message, your computer will \u201cping\u201d and you can see our reply.\u00a0 It is nice because unlike the phone you are not tied to waiting and can move on to other things while we get you an answer.<\/p>\n<p>We launched this feature the week of April 13.\u00a0 I will admit I was stunned at the response.\u00a0 We have already received at least a hundred chat requests so it seems like many of you have already noticed the CHAT REQUEST icon.\u00a0 That is great\u2026Because again, I might be biased but this works as well for us as it does for you.\u00a0 I (or Flora) are only capable of handling phone calls one at a time.\u00a0 But when it comes to the chats\u2026we can handle multiples;
